STEP 1
Let's discover the official WEBSITE "EUPUBLICATIONS" which is continuously updated and publications cover all the topics of the world, are in different languages and could be good tools to learn and teach. Since one year ago it was called "EU Bookshop", now is officially "EU publications"

STEP 2
Now let's discover ONE IMPORTANT publication, considered the base to learn about Europe: "Europe in 12 lessons".
There's a new version finished in 2016 but the author remained the same as in the past and it's a very important person. Mr Pascal Fontaine, collaborator of Jean Monnet and Lecturer at the Paris Institut d’Études Politiques and at the École Polytechnique. Nowadays also called "the inspirator" of the French political and economic adviser.

THE LAST EDITION!

Focus on the covers of each lesson and share with your students the "key words" and the main concepts, like....
PEACE - VALUES - SOLIDARITY - DEMOCRACY
TOGETHER - COOPERATION - IDENTITY ETC....
STEP 3 - PRACTICE IN CLASSROOM
An added suggestion...optional
Videomaking is nice also when children go home and interview parents, in English maybe, and demonstrate them what they are learning but also ask them what's their opinion on the European Union.
This activity can be risky if parents are really against but can be nice if parents understand that their children are learning the basic positive values for which this great "Project" was born and how today we are loosing them due to an increasing growing of other bad phenomenas like racism, violence, xenophobia, bullying
